1. Introduction

The SPS is the center for postgraduate level studies on Public Management. The SPS is continuously engaged with practitioners in the public sector at national, regional and international levels. Hence, the main responsibility of the School is to ensure providing high quality postgraduate academic learning for its participants.

SPS intends to employ a mechanism to continue the MPM pogramme without any setbacks whatsoever in the context of the coronavirus epidemic situation that has arisen has been noted.

2. Objectives of the E-Learning Progamme®

· Knowledge. Learners must be able to recall or remember the information.

· Comprehension: Learners must be able to understand the information.

· Application: Learners must be able to use the information they have learned at the same or different contexts.

· Analysis: Learners must be able to analyze the information, by identifying its different components.

· Synthesis: Learners must be able to create something new using different chunks of the information they have already mastered.

· Evaluation. Learners must be able to present opinions, justify decisions, and make judgments about the information presented, based on previously acquired knowledge

3. Methodology

Since the SLIDA –MPM Programme is engaged with practitioners in the public sector at national, regional and international levels, mode of delivering lectures varied due to nature of the target group. SPS , LMS will be used as the e- platform. All the participants have access to SPS –LMS which is widely used by all the participants, SPS staff and the lecturers. Apart from the LMS , each and every batch is covered by an official whatup group with the participation of the Addi Director General( postgraduate Studies).

3.1 Delivering Lecturers:

Three methods are to be used in delivering lectures and coordinated by the programme officer SPS

Zoom facility

· Voiced power point presentations and questions to evaluate the subject discussed

· Study pack and questions to evaluate the subject discussed.

Zoom facility: lecturer should ensure the maximum class participation at least three repeated lecture sessions as according to bylaws of the MPM programme 10 marks are allocated for class participation.

Voiced power point presentations and questions to evaluate the subject discussed: in this regard voiced presentation will be uploaded to LMS and there will be a question/s that the participant should answer and to send the lecturer. Lecture should send back the feedback.

Study pack and questions to evaluate the subject discussed: conventional distance learning mode. Lecturer evaluate the learning through questions given. 

3.2 Research work

Dissertations and policy papers: Research supervisors examine the research work through email.

3.3 Monitoring and Evaluation

This programme will be monitored and evaluated by the Addi Director General( postgraduate Studies) with the advice of DG SLIDA. Technical guidance and the facilitation provided by the SLIDA IT Consultants.
